SKYLANDS TRIATHLON |
|
The Skylands Triathlon and Duathlon is New Jersey's premier Sprint Triathlon. Professionally organized by the North Hunterdon Rotary Club, and limited to 600 athletes, our long-running, well organized and attended event provides one of the most enjoyable and challenging courses of this distance anywhere in the country. Whether a first-timers or experienced tri or duathlete, Skylands welcomes all! The half mile swim course is an out and back in the Spruce Run Reservoir. The Bike course follows 14 plus challenging miles on Hunterdon County's rural roads (including a long up and fast down hill tour de Jugtown Mountain), and the 5k run follows paths and roadways within the self-contained Spruce Run Recreation Area, a State Park. Families, friends and members from the community are welcome to enjoy the race, lunch buffet, DJ Dan "Doctor D" Torrone, and awards ceremonies.
